Working alongside his father in Switzerland, Hans Bieri, the proprietor, gained invaluable industry experience before starting his own career in woodworking around 1955 in the vicinity of the city of Thun. This decision to relocate the family business to Canada stemmed from the desire to collaborate directly with homeowners instead of relying on architects.
